The FibaTape Self-Adhesive Fibreglass Scrim Tape (90m x 48mm) is a high-performance, open-mesh joint reinforcement tape engineered for joint finishing, crack repair, and drylining applications. Made from woven fiberglass threads coated with a high-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive, it sticks directly to plasterboard surfaces, eliminating the need for an initial embedding coat of compound and accelerating installation times.
 
Featuring an open mesh matrix, it allows setting-type joint compounds and skim plasters to pass through directly to the board seam. This open weave eliminates air pockets, blistering, and bubbling, creating a strong, multi-directional reinforcement grid that significantly reduces the risk of hairline joint cracking.
 
Supplied in a high-yield 90-meter roll with a standard 48mm width, it provides extensive coverage for large-scale partition walling, ceiling jointing, and routine wall repairs. It is suitable for use with both jointing compounds and multi-finish wet skim plasters on paper-faced plasterboard, cement board, and masonry repair surfaces.
