The 12.5mm x 900mm x 1800mm Fire Plasterboard (Square Edge) is a high-density, fire-rated gypsum board engineered to provide enhanced structural integrity and fire integrity for internal partition walls, ceiling linings, and structural steel encasement systems. Formulated with a specialized aerated gypsum core reinforced with glass fiber and non-combustible additives, it maintains structural cohesion under high temperatures to slow the spread of fire and smoke.
 
Featuring a distinct pink paper face for immediate visual identification and building compliance verification on-site, this board meets stringent fire protection standards (Type F to BS EN 520). The square longitudinal edge profile allows boards to butt tight together, making it ideal for full-surface wet skim plastering (such as Thistle Multi Finish or Board Finish) or direct textured decoration.
 
Supplied in a compact 1.8m x 0.9m sheet format (6ft x 3ft), this board offers a manageable size for one-person handling and easy maneuvering through tight spaces, loft conversions, stairwells, and domestic garages. It provides up to 30 minutes of fire resistance in single-layer configurations, or higher protection in multi-layer system designs, when installed strictly in accordance with tested drywall system specifications.
