The 12.5mm x 1200mm x 2400mm Moisture Resistant Plasterboard (Square Edge) is a high-performance gypsum board engineered for internal wall and ceiling linings in areas exposed to high humidity and intermittent moisture. Formulated with silicone additives integrated throughout its aerated core and encased in water-repellent paper liners, it resists moisture ingress, swelling, and structural decay far better than standard wallboards.
 
Featuring a distinct green paper face for quick visual identification and building compliance checks on-site, this board meets water-resistant standards (Type H2 to BS EN 520). It is specifically designed as a stable backing substrate for ceramic tiling and wet-area finishes in bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, shower enclosures, and unheated internal spaces.
 
Supplied in the standard 8ft x 4ft sheet size (2400mm x 1200mm) covering 2.88m², it provides efficient coverage across stud framework and ceiling joists. The square edge (SE) profile is ideal for tight butt-jointing prior to receiving a full wet plaster skim finish (using suitable base coats/primers where specified) or direct tile adhesive application.
