The 12.5mm x 900mm x 1800mm Vapour Foil Faced Plasterboard (Square Edge) is a specialized duplex gypsum board engineered to provide effective room-side vapor control alongside standard wall and ceiling lining functionality. Manufactured with a metallized polyester foil laminated to the back face, it prevents warm, moist air inside a building from penetrating the building envelope, thereby mitigating condensation and protecting interstitial timber or metal frames from rot and corrosion.
 
Featuring a standard paper front face designed for wet plastering or jointing, this board is ideal for external wall linings, uninsulated roof pitches, warm roofs, timber frame constructions, and high-humidity areas such as kitchens, utility rooms, and bathrooms (when protected by proper tile backer systems).
 
Supplied in the compact, 6ft x 3ft sheet size (1800mm x 900mm), it offers exceptional maneuverability for one-person handling, stairwell access, and installation in restricted spaces. The square edge (SE) profile provides a flush, tight-butt joint format ideal for receiving a direct wet plaster skim finish (such as Thistle Multi Finish) across internal studwork or masonry thermal linings.
