Are the edges rectified?

Yes. The tiles feature machine-cut rectified edges, meaning each slab has exact dimensions and sharp, 90-degree corners. This allows for narrow joint widths (typically 4mm to 6mm) for a seamless, modern look.

What foundation is required for installing 20mm outdoor porcelain?

Porcelain tiles must be laid on a full wet sand-and-cement mortar bed (4:1 mix) over a compacted sub-base (100mm MOT Type 1). Crucially, a porcelain priming slurry must be brushed onto the back of every tile immediately before laying to ensure a proper bond with the mortar.

Is Pura Sand porcelain frost-proof and stain-resistant?

Yes. Outdoor porcelain has an extremely low water absorption rate (less than 0.5%), making it virtually impervious to frost, cracking, algae, moss growth, and stains from spilled food, wine, or oil.

How do I cut Digby Pura Porcelain tiles during installation?

Because 20mm vitrified porcelain is extremely hard, cuts should be made using a wet saw fitted with a continuous-rim diamond blade specifically designed for porcelain. Dry cutting with a standard masonry blade can cause the face to chip along the cut line.
