3.0m Plaster Thin Coat Angle Bead
The 3.0m Plaster Thin Coat Angle Bead is a precision-engineered drywall accessory designed to reinforce and protect 90-degree external corners on tall plasterboard walls, full-height partitions, and high-ceiling reveals. Featuring low-profile fine-mesh wings, it enables a smooth, seamless edge without building unnecessary bulk on the plasterboard surface.
Manufactured from high-grade galvanized steel, this angle bead delivers reliable structural rigidity and impact resistance, safeguarding vulnerable wall edges against everyday scuffs, bumps, and cracking. The expanded mesh pattern allows thin-coat skim plasters to key firmly into the substrate, making it easy to feather compound smoothly onto the board.
Supplied in an extended 3.0-meter length, it is ideal for commercial fit-outs, modern residential builds, and high-ceiling spaces, reducing the need for jointing multiple shorter beads on tall wall runs. It is specifically intended for internal board finish systems, multi-finish skim coats, and drywall jointing applications.
Thin Coat Bead (25mm wing, 3mm plaster depth)
- Designed for use with one coat plaster work down to a 3mm finish.
- Perforated wings to provide an excellent plastering key.
Installation:
Installation usually achieved by pressing the wings firmly into plaster dabs placed at approximately 600mm centres both sides of the arris. The wings may alternatively be embedded into the first coat of plaster for normal two-coat work.
Beads may be cut to size as required by using a hacksaw and snips. Beads should be stored off the ground and in dry conditions during site work.
