The 3.0m Standard Angle Plaster Bead is an essential internal plastering accessory designed to reinforce and protect 90-degree corners, window reveals, and door surrounds. Featuring a precision-formed rigid center nose, it acts as a true straight edge and screed guide to ensure crisp, clean, and perfectly aligned external corners during plaster application.
 
Manufactured from high-grade galvanized steel, this angle bead delivers high mechanical strength and impact resistance, shielding vulnerable wall edges against everyday knocks, scuffs, and chipping. The expanded mesh wings provide excellent mechanical keying, allowing undercoat and finish plasters to bond securely through the bead to the underlying masonry or plasterboard.
 
Supplied in a standard 3.0-meter length, it is ideally dimensioned for standard UK ceiling heights and door frames, minimizing waste and cutting time on site. It is specifically intended for internal drywall and wet plastering applications using standard multi-finish, hardwall, or sand-and-cement render undercoats.

Installation:
Installation usually achieved by pressing the wings firmly into plaster dabs placed at approximately 600mm centres both sides of the arris. The wings may alternatively be embedded into the first coat of plaster for normal two-coat work.

Beads may be cut to size as required by using a hacksaw and snips. Beads should be stored off the ground and in dry conditions during site work.
