The 3.0m Render Bellcast Stainless Steel Stop Bead is a premium, heavy-duty plastering accessory engineered to form a clean, robust, and weather-deflecting drip edge at the base of exterior render systems. Designed for demanding external wall applications, it projects rainwater away from the foundation and lower masonry to protect the building envelope from moisture ingress.
 
Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel (typically Grade 304 or 316), this bellcast bead offers exceptional corrosion resistance compared to standard galvanized alternatives. It is specifically suitable for severe exposure zones, coastal locations, and areas subject to high moisture or chemical atmospheric conditions where maximum longevity is required.
 
Supplied in a 3.0-meter length, it provides continuous, straight edge reinforcement over long wall spans while maintaining a rigid profile during render application. It is fully compatible with traditional sand-and-cement mixes, monocouche, and heavy-coat external rendering systems.

Installation
Edge beads may be fixed by dabs or by masonry nails of similar material.
Plasterboard Edge Bead: Fix the perforated wing flush to the board face before applying final skim coat. The bead may be reversed if required by fixing the wing to the board's inner surface.
Stainless steel or PVCu should be used in external applications.
