The Bluebird Stainless Steel Screw Ties are professional-grade wall starter and connection ties engineered to securely anchor a new leaf of brickwork, blockwork, or stonework directly to an existing masonry host wall without the need for traditional toothing. Manufactured from high-grade austenitic stainless steel, these ties provide complete immunity to rust and long-term corrosion resistance, making them fully suitable for both internal and external extensions and structural refurbishment projects.
 
Installed via a straightforward drill-and-plug system, they require an 8mm hole drilled into the existing wall every third brick course, followed by inserting the wall plug, driving the screw tie home, and bedding the remaining tail flat into the new mortar joint. Fully compliant with relevant British Standards and BBA-approved, they satisfy structural requirements for buildings up to three storeys or 8 meters in height. Typically supplied in boxes of 100 complete with matching wall plugs, they deliver dependable, professional-grade structural integrity for trade contractors.
