The 3.6mm White Faced Hardboard Sheet 2400 x 1220mm is a thin, versatile engineered wood panel featuring a smooth, factory-applied white melamine or enamel coating on one side and a textured mesh pattern on the reverse. Designed for professional carpenters, builders, and interior fitters, it provides an economical and lightweight solution for non-structural applications such as cabinet backs, drawer bases, and interior wall linings.
Manufactured from steam-cooked wood fibers compressed under high heat and pressure without added synthetic resins, this hardboard relies on natural lignins to bond the fibers into a dense, rigid sheet. The smooth white face offers an instant, wipe-clean finish that brightens interior spaces and eliminates the need for priming or painting, while the thin 3.6mm profile allows it to be easily integrated into shallow rebates and grooves.
Supplied in standard 2400 x 1220 mm (approx. 8x4 ft) sheets, it can be effortlessly cut with a fine-toothed hand saw or panel saw, and fixed using lightweight pins, staples, or adhesives. It serves as an essential, cost-effective trade consumable for quick cosmetic repairs, furniture backs, and sign-making projects.

- To condition: rub clean water into the mesh surface of the board with a brush or clean mop, using about half to 1 litre per 2440x1220x3mm board. The treated boards should be neatly stacked wet side to wet side in an unheated building for 48-72 hours.
