What is the best way to cut clean mitre joints on a 12 x 9mm bead?

Use a fine-toothed hand mitre saw or specialized mitre shears designed for small mouldings. Support the thin 9mm profile firmly against the mitre box fence when cutting 45-degree corner joints to prevent tear-out or splintering.
