Bradstone Peak Riven Concrete Paving Slabs are practical, budget-friendly paving flags designed with a subtle riven (textured) surface that mimics natural stone. They are built for durable, everyday outdoor utility and functional landscaping, commonly used for:

How should Bradstone Peak Riven slabs be installed?

Lay the flags over a compacted sub-base of MOT Type 1 (75mm to 100mm depth) on a full wet mortar bed (4 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement). Ensure a mortar gap of 10mm to 15mm between slabs to accommodate standard manufacturing tolerances.

Can Peak Riven slabs be used for a primary garden patio?

While they can be used for budget-conscious patios, Bradstone categorizes Peak Riven primarily as a utility paver. Because they are designed for functionality, natural variations in colour, transit marks, and surface efflorescence are more common than in premium decorative paving ranges.

Are Bradstone Peak Riven slabs frost-resistant?

Yes. Pressed concrete utility slabs are manufactured to withstand British freeze-thaw weather cycles without cracking, provided they are laid with adequate fall ($1:60$) to prevent standing water.
