The 200mm Wall Ties Housing Type Stainless Steel (WTS4 / Type 4) are light-duty cavity wall ties engineered to securely connect the inner and outer leaves of domestic masonry structures. They are widely specified by builders and structural contractors for box-form dwellings up to 10 meters in height, including internal separating cavity walls.
 
Manufactured from high-grade austenitic stainless steel, these ties offer complete immunity to rust and exceptional long-term resistance to mortar corrosion, ensuring structural integrity over the lifespan of the building. The 200mm length is specifically tailored to accommodate designated cavity widths (typically suited for cavities ranging between 75mm to 100mm, depending on embedment depths).
 
Engineered with a central drip feature to prevent moisture from crossing the cavity, these Type 4 ties provide reliable lateral strength while safely allowing minor differential movement between wall leaves. Type 4 wall ties are light duty, suitable for box-form dwellings up to 10 metres high with leaves of similar thickness, including internal separating cavity walls. Use in flat sites in towns and cities where the basic wind speed does not exceed 25 m/s and the altitude is not more than 150m above sea level.
