The 110mm Push-Fit Soil Pipe Weathering Collar (Black) (also known as a rain collar or weather apron) is a protective uPVC fitting designed to seal the junction where a 110mm black soil and vent pipe penetrates an external roof flashing or weather seal. It prevents rainwater from running down the outer wall of the soil pipe and entering the roof structure or building cavity.
 
Positioned immediately above the roof flashing apron (such as a lead slate or synthetic weathering flashing), the collar deflects cascading rainwater away from the central pipe penetration point. It features an internal elastomeric rubber seal or tight friction-fit inner ring that grips the outer wall of the 110mm pipe, creating an effective weather barrier without requiring mechanical fixings. For enhanced weatherproofing in exposed locations, a bead of silicone sealant can be applied along the top rim.
 
Manufactured from durable, high-impact, UV-stabilized uPVC in compliance with UK standards (BS EN 1329-1), the black finish prevents degradation from direct sunlight and matches standard black external soil and vent systems.
