The Plasson Compression Adaptor Copper 7438 (25mm - 22mm) is a specialized transition fitting engineered to securely join a 25mm metric MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene) water supply pipe directly to a standard 22mm copper pipe. It is widely utilized by plumbing, heating, and utility professionals during modern retrofits, property renovations, or maintenance tasks where underground plastic service lines must interface seamlessly with traditional internal copper plumbing infrastructure.

Manufactured from high-grade virgin polypropylene on the compression body combined with a precision-engineered, corrosion-resistant DZR brass or metal-threaded transition interface, this adaptor provides exceptional impact strength, environmental stress resistance, and complete immunity to rust. The internal plastic side features a captive O-ring seal and robust split ring that mechanically grips the exterior of the polyethylene pipe upon tightening, ensuring structural stability and preventing tube pull-out under operational pressure.

Engineered for rapid and straightforward installation on site, the fitting allows technicians to connect differing pipe materials without requiring specialized welding, brazing, or complex conversion kits. Fully WRAS-approved for wholesome potable water and rated for high working pressures up to 16 bar (PN16), this trade-quality adaptor delivers dependable performance and a long-term, leak-free seal across mixed-material water networks.
