The Pushfit Waste 135° Obtuse Bend 32mm (also referred to as a 45-degree elbow or obtuse bend) is a directional fitting designed to create a soft 45-degree angle change in a standard 32mm waste pipe run. Manufactured from high-impact polypropylene, this fitting enables gentle directional transitions without creating sharp right angles, helping to maintain efficient fluid flow and minimize the risk of waste accumulation and clogs.

 

Equipped with factory-installed elastomeric rubber lip seals in its push-fit sockets, the bend enables a fast, tool-free connection onto standard 32mm push-fit plastic waste pipes. The push-fit mechanism eliminates the need for solvent weld cement while accommodating natural thermal expansion and contraction caused by hot water discharge.

 

Ideal for navigating pipework around wall corners, structural obstructions, or offset waste stack connections in bathroom, bidet, and cloakroom installations, this fitting is fully resistant to continuous hot water flow and aggressive household cleaning chemicals. It provides plumbers and DIYers with a reliable, code-compliant component for smooth, small-bore waste system routing.
