The BG Electrical Moulded 821 is a white single (1 gang) single-pole switched socket, rated at 13A .

Part of the white moulded round-edge range, the 821 is constructed to a modern standard design to be used with a regular 3 pin UK plug, and so is a great value option for a huge variety of domestic and commercial installations. As a single pole switched socket it functions as a simple on/off for the appliance plugged in ? if the product required needs isolating, see the 821DP.

The 821 is simple to install; supplied with fixing screws, installation instructions and angled colour-coded terminals with captive screws, retrofitting into an existing backbox (minimum depth 25mm) is made easy. To allow for an even safer, high-integrity protective connection, the socket is twin earth fitted to allow a double earth facility.
