ACO HexDrain Accessory Pack is a collection of essential components designed to complement, seal, and terminate a domestic surface water drainage run.

• System Termination & End Caps: Used to cap off the open ends of a drainage run securely, preventing backflow of soil or concrete into the channel during installation.

• Vertical Outlet Connection: Provides the necessary adapters or connectors to link the drainage channel directly to standard underground 110mm drainage pipes or soakaways.

• Leaf Strainer & Debris Trap: Helps catch leaves and large debris at outlet points to prevent clogs and blockages further down the underground pipe network.

• Joint Sealing & Security: Ensures a robust, leak-free installation by providing connection points and components that lock the drainage run securely in place.

A standard ACO HexDrain Accessory Pack includes:

Available for collection from our Rugby branch or local delivery using our own fleet.

Delivery is kerbside and the final offloading position is always subject to safe access and the driver’s discretion.

How do I seal the end caps to prevent leaks?

Apply a continuous bead of exterior-grade waterproof silicone sealant or bitumen mastic around the inner rim of the end cap before pushing it firmly onto the end of the HexDrain channel.

Can the vertical outlet connect to pipe sizes other than 110mm?

The standard HexDrain vertical outlet is specifically engineered to fit standard 110mm underground drainage pipe (commonly used in UK domestic drainage). If connecting to a different pipe size, you will need a suitable eccentric reducer or adaptor.

How often should the leaf strainer be cleaned?

It is recommended to inspect and clean out the leaf strainer and outlet trap at least twice a year—ideally in late autumn after leaves have fallen and again in spring—to prevent blockages and maintain optimal water flow.

Do the end caps require screws or clips to stay in place?

Most ACO HexDrain end caps feature a snug push-fit or clip-in design that secures directly into the end of the channel. Using a dab of waterproof sealant ensures they stay firmly anchored under pressure from surrounding soil or concrete.

Can accessory pack components be purchased individually?

Yes. While accessory packs offer a convenient bundle of end caps and outlets, individual replacement parts like end caps and vertical outlets are also widely available from builders' merchants if you only need a specific item.
