Imagine old weather-damaged bricks, full of character and with a tint of green from moss and lichen. An attractive paving surface, certainly, but one that would continue to be eroded by foot traffic and frost.

Stonemarket's Antique Brick paving reproduces this effect in remarkably authentic detail, but with the important difference of being high strength concrete which is fully resistant to frost and normal domestic use.

A cement dye can be added to the mortar used for pointing between the slabs to give both moulded and actual joints a similar appearance. Over time, natural mosses and lichens often establish themselves in harmony with the normal weathering process.
