All
materials used in the construction of Ellis
units have been carefully selected to match
our exacting specifications and to meet
or surpass the relevant British Standards.
Assembled
units are constructed to meet the performance
requirements of BS6222 Part 2. Kitchen Unit
carcases are manufactured from MFC in a
variety of decorative finishes.
Carcase
rails and muntins are manufactured from
high quality hardwood purchased only from
sources that can demonstrate good forest
management practices.
All
drawers are of a dovetailed construction,
and operate on a high quality metal runner
system, thus ensuring long term strength
and durability. Concealed fully adjustable
hinges are standard throughout with 100°
opening, and the option of 170° is available.
Worktops are constructed from high pressure
laminate bonded to 28mm or 38mm chipboard.
